Happy almost Thanksgiving week! We are getting really excited over here in the Carrozza house for our first holiday season as a married couple. There's just something extra special about the holidays right after you get married, and we're soaking up every second of it. We even went as far as putting up our Christmas tree in mid-November lol. Not even sorry about it because it looks so good in our place!
Speaking of being married, I feel like we're officially back in the flow of our normal day-to-day after all the hustle of wedding planning during the summer, then the actual wedding, then the honeymoon. It was a crazy fun ride, but we're finally feeling back to normal and loving it. Which also means I'm trying to get back into the gym! I took about a 6 week break from any real workout after the wedding and it actually felt really good to give myself that rest. But I'm ready to get back to it!
Now that I'm back in the gym, I need pre-workout snacks. I usually workout before work in the mornings, which means I'm waking up at 6am and heading straight down to the gym in our building. So I need something super quick to grab and munch on to settle my stomach. Nut-based bites are my favorite for that and these Walnut Cocoa Bites are perfect! I didn't add any sweeteners to mine (not even dates) since I try to keep my sugar intake to a minimum and I like them without it, however if you like something with a little sweetness then add dates and you'll be set!
